Review on 🔵 White and Blue Dawn Twister Bottle Brush by Crystal Smith

Fantastic brush, love the torque when you squeeze the handle. Ideal for cleaning coffee cups and glasses. The reason for the 3 rating is the same as reported by liverummer, which is that the internal metal spring rusts after the brush handle has been stored down for about a month. After reading the Liverummer review I opened up my faulty unit so we can all better understand the issue. As you can see in the photo, the inner spring is rusted. Is that because the handle is completely sealed, perhaps to slow down the rusting process? This is a misguided approach in my opinion as water runs down the top of the grip destroying any waterproofing that the rubber grip could otherwise offer. Also, there is no hole on the bottom of the handle or any other hanging option for the customer to hang these brush bristles. Since I like this brush very much, I bought 3 new ones. As shown in the photo, I drilled a hole in the bottom of the handle on my fancy block to see if I could do this without destroying the brush. worked fine So I'm going to try this on one of the new brushes and see if that fixes the problem by running the water out of the handle as holding this thing upside down is not an option for me. I don't think a small hole will be enough to prevent rust, but we'll see. Dawn Mfr, if you're listening, we'd all appreciate it if you could repair this brush by simply replacing the spring with stainless steel or some other non-rusting metal. Easy to fix.
