With some adjustments to the settings you can get great everyday shots. I'm talking about a few settings because most of the preset image settings work just fine. But sometimes the flash fires, making the picture too bright, or vice versa, the flash doesn't fire and the picture becomes too dark. My only other complaint is the time between photos. If you want to take quick shots, this camera is not for you. After you take a picture, the camera takes a few seconds to save the picture in memory and then a few more seconds to get ready for the next shot. It's not a terrible lag, but I missed a lot of frames because I can't shoot fast. The included editing software is typical, including cropping, basic lighting effects, and red-eye correction. All in all, if you're looking for something cheap that takes decent photos, this camera is fine.
