This is one of those "bells and whistles" that impresses right away. Everything in it is made to perfection. Bracket, loop, ball. everything ended up with a wonderful matte black finish. It looks great the way it is and it's durable. I was expecting it to be made out of a thinner, cheaper material, but that's the kind of helmet mount NASA got for the space shuttle when it splurged on its $100,000 toilet seat budget. It's really well made and good. Does he wear a helmet? Of course. This is an amazing ball with a strong bond. I can put a full face helmet on it and even pull it up and it won't sag. Victory, victory, victory!
