I bought this to remove stubborn hard water stains that other cleaning methods can't handle. This removed them in seconds and didn't scratch the porcelain. For best results, turn off the water in the toilet and flush without refilling the bowl. Place the product on a damp paper towel and rub. Since it's a thick liquid rather than a paste, if the bowl refills as you scrub, the paper towel will wash it away before you're done. If you turn off the water in the first place, make sure you can finish the work when you first use it. When you're done, turn the water back on and rinse, and your bowl will be good as new.
