Does not work in household cleaning

Followed the instructions: flushed the toilet and applied the product to the water ring, cleaned the next morning and cleaned the bowl and ring did not budge. waste of time and money

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • sad packaging

WORKS WELL (but read on)

I have tried many toilet cleaners without pumice because I was concerned that the pumice would ruin the china. There is no such thing as a mega-Brit. I found it to have a pleasant smell. Beware! It took me quite a bit of effort to remove a perennial toilet ring that had detached from the surface of the porcelain. Overall I am very happy with Megabrite and would recommend it to anyone who has tried other cleaners without success.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Disappointment with bathroom cleaners

I bought this for general purpose to remove water rings in the toilet. If you spray it on those rings, it just slides down the toilet because it's just fine sand in a jelly-like substance. So unless you can pump water out of the toilet first, which is a dubious task in the first place, you won't accomplish much. I think it would be better if I used some sand for casting or pumice stone. I cannot recommend this product to anyone.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • High price

Don't waste money.

I was looking for an easy to use toilet cleaner for water stains in the toilet bowl. Good reviews made me buy this expensive product. First, it's not easy to use. You have to pour the water out of the toilet and then rub it with all your strength. And then it didn't work either. No matter how much I wash. In the end, all I had to do was get the pumice stone. It's a shame because I really wanted to find an easier way to skip this product. That does not work.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Some difficulties

I'm so glad I did - Bathroom cleaner

I just recently moved to a village where I have a septic tank. I decided to use as many things as possible that wouldn't hurt him. I tried some ideas from YouTube but they didn't work. I ordered it with reservation. I'm so glad I did. He wasn't as fat as some describe him. For my toilet, I drained the plumbing underneath where my hard water stain was. I splashed a little on the spot and started rubbing the stain with a paper towel. It took less than a minute to remove everything. Boy was I…

  • Many will do

Works great around the home

I bought this to remove stubborn hard water stains that other cleaning methods can't handle. This removed them in seconds and didn't scratch the porcelain. For best results, turn off the water in the toilet and flush without refilling the bowl. Place the product on a damp paper towel and rub. Since it's a thick liquid rather than a paste, if the bowl refills as you scrub, the paper towel will wash it away before you're done. If you turn off the water in the first place, make sure you can finish

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Security

Passed through stains

Bought a house with heavily soiled toilets. As the toilets were otherwise in good condition it seemed very wasteful to replace them. I've tried everything, with or without a pumice stone, to get the stains out. Nothing has worked before, this stuff. I drained the water from the bowls so it was well below the waterline. Shake the bottle well and squeeze under the rim, another drop in the middle and a third drop on the stubborn spot at the waterline. I then took a dry brush to clean the toilet…

Not Effective: Bathroom Cleaner

For those who have never seen this product, it is a thick gray liquid with small abrasive grains. It reminds me of the cleansing face masks I used as a teenager. It has a squeeze cap, but it's not easy to squeeze out due to the density of the liquid. I removed the cap and just squeezed the bottle. The bottle was smaller than I expected, but 9 ounces doesn't fit in a large bottle no matter what. This product did not work for me and I will not buy it again. I think I was just unlucky like other…
