I like this product because of the different types and levels of illumination and the low magnification. However, it seems to have the same problem I'm having with a similar product - the power cord connection is unstable and seems to wear out after a few months. Sometimes the light doesn't come on at all, sometimes it goes out after a few minutes. Sometimes when I play with the jack it lights up again. I apply eyeliner first, which I don't prefer because I need the light on the mirror more than to apply mascara, base, etc. I have a small New York apartment and my bathroom is impractical for makeup application, so I need it and I'm frustrated.
