I bought this frame because I thought it would be useful when sewing in my chair. I found I didn't like it at all. There were no assembly instructions at all, but I was able to figure it out with a little thought. The support frame was too wide to sit on my lap and not wide enough to rest on the chair's armrests. It was difficult to bring the sides of the frame together. The split bars resulted in the support frame being very tight at one end and loosely slack at the other, making the support frame too frustrating to use. Without a support frame, the rolling frame was very awkward to hold and use. I couldn't stretch the fabric enough
