Review on 💆 Kevin Murphy Plumping Shampoo and Conditioner Duo Set, 8.4 oz. by Robert Hodge

After hearing so many stylists rave about the Kevin Murphy Plumping line, I finally took the plunge and bought some. I had very high expectations - if this shampoo and conditioner costs $75 then it must work wonders! THE RESULTS TOTALLY LOST MY EXPECTATIONS. I have naturally black hair that has been bleached to dark brown. All other shampoos and conditioners I've used make my hair comfortable enough when dry, but still feels like straw when wet. The plumping line is really changing the texture of my hair! Now it is always soft and smooth - whether wet or dry! I've only been using this line for a week so can't confirm the thickening effect yet, but I would buy it again for the moisturizing and softening aspects alone. Also, a little really makes a big difference, keeping costs a bit low. The only criticism is the smell. This is a very heavily perfumed product and the scent will literally stay with you throughout the day. I'm not one to dislike strong perfumes, but even an all-day scent is too strong for me. If you are sensitive to strong smells, this line is definitely not for you. If you can stomach the fact that you can smell strong and feel strong all day, take the plunge and buy this line.
