Review on πŸ”§ Efficient Cable Lubrication with Motion Pro 08-0182 Cable Luber by Drew Panah

I like two separate adjustment screws

I used a YamaLuber that I bought over 30 years ago. It had a few flaws and NLA which is why I found this Moose.1 product. Pros: I like the two separate adjustment screws, one for the body and one for the core. A single Yama screw would sometimes tighten at one end and loosen at the core, especially when the case was fairly large. This double screw design helps to solve this problem.2. Pros: Great quality, nice finish. It must be determined whether neoprene can withstand years of use.3. Minus: The side opening of the case is too big. It seems to work very well for clutch/brake cables. Slight traction can be a problem with smaller throttle housings, particularly the "universal" housings used on off-road motorcycles with domino throttle bodies. (I've seen bike trials). You can only check it in the spring. It may be necessary to add tape or a thin pipe collar to reduce the inside diameter. Overall I'm happy to find a source and happy to have a two screw design.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Good but not great
