Trust me - this won't work on your Harley

after years of trying to find a better use for lubricating my clutch cable on my Harley, I ignored common sense and ordered one of these things - after I had the cable removed from the lever, not enough tether to get the move right. Via cable-on-cable lube - trust me this won't work - save money and just stick a straw down the hole as deep as you can, then seal with a pressure-sensitive cloth and syringe for 3-5 seconds - done!

First attempt at lubricating cables

I thought it was due to lack of experience but I'm a stubborn person. I've tried everything to get this trick to work. I've used almost a whole can of cable lube and all the cables on the other end are dry. If I could stick a straw down the body of the cable I could get some lube there instead of on myself, the bike and the ground. Screw that junk, I'll cut off the corner of the zip pocket, thread the wire harness through, tape the wire jacket and it'll work better. I do not recommend thisโ€ฆ

MOST DON'T KNOW WHAT A TOOL IS

I did a little engine repair in a collage and took it to school. Evan the teacher didn't know what it was for. It's built pretty well and if you can attach it before spraying it will surely direct the lube to where you need it. I've seen the oldtimers soak the entire cable in oil. because they couldn't let the grease flow into the case. This product helps direct the flow of lubricant. Actually a good idea. Take it out of your pocket and ask people what it is. Nine out of ten won't know.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

The quality has gone down. Absolutely useless.

What's the difference 20 years. I lost my old Motion Pro cable lube when I moved and decided to buy the same brand to replace it. The vintage worked great. The new one was absolutely useless garbage ballast. The inner rubber stopper did not line up with the grooves in the case. The clamping mechanism was poor, resulting in a puddle of grease on the bottom that barely made it into the cable housing. This item will be added to my local junkyard and I will be looking for a quality replacement.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Modernity

complex and messy

Pros: I like the concept and the product is well designed. I doubt it will ever wear out or break. Inserting and securing the cable and sheath is very easy. The hole in the rubber that the plastic straw goes through makes for a damn good seal. Despite the mess and large leaks, the grease remains. at the bottom of the cable sheath. Cons: Grease leaks out of the gap where the end of the cable sticks out. used, I probably wouldn't buy it again if I lost mine. It takes longer to find a rubber bandโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for a small home

I like two separate adjustment screws

I used a YamaLuber that I bought over 30 years ago. It had a few flaws and NLA which is why I found this Moose.1 product. Pros: I like the two separate adjustment screws, one for the body and one for the core. A single Yama screw would sometimes tighten at one end and loosen at the core, especially when the case was fairly large. This double screw design helps to solve this problem.2. Pros: Great quality, nice finish. It must be determined whether neoprene can withstand years of use.3. Minusโ€ฆ

Car Motorbike & Bicycle

Too bulky to lubricate some smaller cables, the rubber cone inside could have a smoother angle instead of just having 3 different sizes for cable glands. Has helped lubricate several new and old cables on bikes, garage doors, lawn mowers, motorcycles, cars etc and keep them running for years. It recently helped me save a ton of money by re-lubing the throttle cable on a 2003 Subaru Forester black box with wires in the engine compartment on the passenger side), the car had intermittent high idle

Pros
  • A handy item
Cons
  • So far so good
