I bought this "true sine wave inverter" a little over a week ago; I bought it after buying and returning a conventional inverter at an auto parts store. I knew I needed a true sine wave inverter and I read all the reviews of most inverters on Revain. All the reviews I read talked about how loud the inverter fan noise is. This particular inverter is larger than the Whisper Quiet; Even holding the inverter close to my ear, I can barely make out the very muffled whisper of the noise. I love the fact that this inverter also controls my car battery. Before I got this inverter I had to reset the car every three nights/mornings. I bought this inverter because I became homeless in November. Just because I'm homeless doesn't mean I can't keep working. I usually always have two laptops connected.; I also run my electric razor, cell phones and so on. Next time I'll try the regular Mr. Coffee. I highly recommend this true sine wave inverter. It's absolutely amazing! When I have the money I plan to buy a 1000 watt true sine wave inverter.
