Works well, gets expensive
Have been using these filters for about 15 years. I used to change them every 6 months as I have very hard water. Since I installed a new water softener they have lasted almost a year. I use my humidifiers year round so the filters never dry out and I don't have the problems some describe. My only complaint is that they get expensive. The price has gone up more than $9 since I last bought it - almost 50%. I found them cheaper elsewhere.
