Replacement Fan Toyota Matrix / Pontiac Vibe

I bought this to replace the cooling fan on a 2006 Pontiac Vibe which is a Toyota Matrix clad in Pontiac leather. In fact, the only thing present in a Pontiac car is a radio. The old fan developed an unusual wobble under load and looked like it was trying to detach from the car. Unfortunately, I couldn't find just the complete motor anywhere, but I was glad to find it at Revain for 33% off the $200-$212 price point at local stores. It was an exact match, fit and works great. It took 15 minutes to completely replace and close the hood. The car is nice and quiet again and the owner swears that the air conditioning is colder than before. Maybe it's because the old unit didn't cool the condenser well, but that's a nice bonus. For the $70 price point, I'd easily recommend this if you need to replace yours. Even if you don't normally do mechanical work, it's just a matter of removing and reattaching two screws, an electrical connector, and two hoses. Just make sure you wait for the radiator liquid to cool down in the attached reservoir and that you have the bottom of the unit installed on the two rails at the bottom on each side of the condenser. Also, make sure the keys are out of the ignition and disconnect the negative battery cable, just for extra security. The blades are plastic composite, but I'm sure they still hurt when turning the fan on with your fingers.
