Loved it so much I bought a second one because Mr. Carrot has a huge "pig palace" in the living room during the day and a smaller cage by my bed at night. He sleeps in a fleece "bondage bag," which he apparently enjoys. I wanted something nice and warm with the winter weather approaching and found this lovely warm bed. As a "test" I put both of them next to each other in his house. Mr. Carrot (he's a guinea pig) sniffed both of them and then curled up in this new winter bed. He much prefers it to a fleece bag. The cushion can be easily removed for cleaning. The cushion can also be used separately if required. I bought a medium for Mr. Carrot and it was a good size for a guinea pig to curl up and turn over with easily. The price is right - a great buy.
