Review on Stanley 8” Premium Titanium Scissors: Non-Stick Blade, Ergonomic Handle | Gray/Black (SCI8TINS) by Heather Shaw

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The plastic pin is broken.

Looks like good scissors, but certainly not for long. I was looking for a pair of scissors that were a little heavier than normal craft scissors. These scissors appear to be of good quality and appear to be heavier than regular scissors and are comfortable to hold and use but were not particularly sharp to begin with. The word "piranha" in her name must refer to another characteristic of this fish and for $10 I wasn't really expecting "premium" but I was really surprised when after 6 months of moderate use she bought the line shattered. . The weak point is the steering knuckle. It consists of 2 parts: a flat-head metal screw (bolt) and a molded plastic part (nut). The plastic nut snapped where the threaded part became a solid square head and the two blades fell apart completely. The shortest life scissors I've ever owned.

Cons
