My old (non-fast charge) car charger had a feature that showed car battery voltage and I loved that feature. This feature is useful for knowing when to replace the car battery or at least to check the condition of the battery. I needed a new car charger to accommodate the needs of my Samsung Note and iPad Pro on the go. Also, my car rides are typically 4-5 hours and I tend to burn my phone battery with Waze. I wanted a charger that I can use when I'm about an hour away from my destination to charge my phone to 100%. This charger serves its purpose perfectly. This charger is made of copper, which is excellent at dissipating heat. It gives a premium feel when you hold it in your hand. The light coming from the charger is very bright compared to the ambient light in my car. However, due to the low location of the charging port, it doesn't bother me. However, it can bother some people at night, especially when driving in rural areas where it is pitch black at night. All in all, this is a good buy.
