Review on 🔒 Protective Shell Case for Cadillac Escalade Keyless Entry Remote Key Fob: Button Pad Cover from KeylessOption by John Talcott

One of my keyless remotes for my Escalade fell and broke into several pieces. I was able to salvage the internal circuit board and use it in this new case. The case fits well, as do the buttons. My only problem is that the button to open the rear window doesn't work. All other buttons function normally when pressed normally. Upon further investigation I found that the contact to open the liftgate window was not positioned exactly over the contact on the electrical board and therefore the window would not open. Not a big deal since I used that button a lot anyway. If this becomes a problem, I can just remove the contact and re-tap. UPDATE - 11/27/17 - After using the keyless remote for over a week, I'm having an issue with it. The button with the horn symbol keeps falling out of the lid. Luckily I had it in my bag a few times when it happened and I was able to salvage the part. Once it broke down in the parking lot and I had to look for it. I will be using my second keychain instead until my husband finds another replacement. I guess I should have bought $40 instead.
