My daughter is slim and tall, she is 5 years old and wears size 6 pants. Normally size 6 is perfect in length and a little loose in the waist. We ordered a size 6 and they were very difficult to put on, too tight at the waist and short at the ankle. The quality of the material is good for school pants. We're ordering a size 8 to try on her as we love the idea of the elasticated waist.
