Pretty thin but suitable for summer
The box was quite small when it arrived so I was skeptical about the plumpness and size of this blanket. It was vacuum sealed to make it smaller for shipping which was fine but it was quite wrinkled. The label says dry clean only so I didn't wash it but instead tumble dried it on low heat with dryer balls to smooth out some of the wrinkles. The duvet feels silky and quite thin, I would have thought more of a summer duvet. The color has an almost purple undertone rather than a true grey. It's beautiful and works great on my guest bed!
- WASHING INSTRUCTIONS: Better use hand wash for the first time, put some salt in cold water, it will keep the color longer, then you can use the washing machine in the future, naturally dry and ironing is allowed.
