I ordered this because I will be taking care of my sister-in-law and son-in-law, two large dogs. The Golden Retriever is old and doesn't need a kennel, but the old English cute big animal is still in its mischievous stage and needs to go into the kennel at night while everyone is sleeping. He's a sweet boy but likes to chew on things when he thinks no one is looking. It is very muscular, so my daughter advised me to buy this brand. 42 inches is more than enough for him to stretch out and even lie on his back. I couldn't be happier. Really good, well made product, easy to stow away in the garage when it comes back. But while he is with his grandma (with me) in the room. lol😊❤
