Rework motor wiring? This is the wire you need to get. Very high quality wire that withstands current up to 8s very well for motor wiring. When I change motors I take the motors I just changed and cut the shrink tubing off of them and put a new wire on them if 120mm so they are ready for another build if I reuse them or them are ready to use. sold if I intend to sell them. I hate just connecting wires, it looks messy and adds a point of resistance that isn't needed. Take a fresh lead and do it right. This is more difficult with closed bottom motors, with newer open bottom motors, and almost everything being done now has an open bottom, this is very easy to do if the wires and heat shrink are not taped to the windings on the bottom . then it might be a bit difficult or impossible to do without doing damage. In this case you trim the wires fairly tight but leave about 0.75 inch of stripped wire and make a nice clean splice instead of just stacking the wires on top of each other and soldering them together, that's not a no. Connect them correctly and you'll have a resistance close to that of a solid stranded patch. I make my wires red for the middle wire and the two outer black wires. The reason I do this is because I'm in a race and don't have time to change the motor, then jump into BLhlei and change the direction of the motor to get a new motor and ready to ride. Also, changing the direction of the motor requires a bit more processing in the ESC, which just isn't necessary. Solder the motors properly and make life a little easier for the ESC processor. If you do this you will have less jitter on high KV motors. k. Simply better in every way.
