I have purchased several Zirconium leak detectors and have not been impressed. I literally had to glue them together after putting the battery in because the tops were very loose. And when I tested them, the leak alarm wasn't loud at all. If you had an alarm under your sink with the closet door closed, you might be able to hear it if you're around. If you've been down, forget it. So I bought some of these. WOW, that's loud! Loud, like walking past a fire alarm in an elementary school. You won't miss it even if it's hidden behind a pack of toilet paper, the closet door is closed and you're downstairs. If you have a leak, hear it loud and clear. I fitted a brand new energizer as new top end batteries are recommended. The thing is delicate and seems to be working fine. I'm happy.
