I have several LG products. In fact, I bought them to replace five year old LG HBS-912 headphones, which I really liked. However, after many years of use, the microphone began to fail. From day one, the mics (two of them) in the HBS-XL7 were no better than those in my old 912s. I called customer service with the HBS-XL7 and they couldn't understand what I was saying. So they sent me a replacement and it didn't work any better. This time I called support, I switched between the replacement HBS-XL7 and my Bose Soundwear Companion wireless wearable speaker (which I use to watch TV after my wife falls asleep). ). They agreed that the difference was day and night. In case you are wondering, I have a new LG Sylo4 phone.
