Feelings of love and hate in this set.

Before ordering this cookware set I searched the entire Revain collection. The delivery was terrible, everything I ordered here was usually always delivered to my entrance, but that big and heavy box of crockery wasn't there. We had to pick it up at the post office ourselves the next day after the update, it was already delivered. Anyway, let's talk about the set itself. When it arrived I was very excited and happy when I opened the box and saw that everything was so well wrapped and packaged. But after unrolling them all and laying them out on my rug, I noticed all the scratches and black dents (see photo). I was very disappointed as this is our first stainless steel cookware set to replace our old non stick set. I was hoping it would be perfect considering a stainless steel set is usually 3-4 times more expensive than a non-stick set. So I contacted the seller, they agreed to give me a partial refund to make up for the shortcomings. I prefer a perfect set to a cheaper set with imperfections but I really don't want to send back the whole big and heavy box so I accepted and kept it. Functional characteristics, mostly evenly heated, the outer ring of the pan heats up below average when heated, but the difference is not too big. I would say this set heats up a bit slower than nonstick, but it works well as a cookware set. The cleaning went well, after cleaning the inner floor tends to have these rainbow/white spots and also white spots around the screws and the outer floor after a few uses starts to have these rusty spots and spots which I didn't notice. I don't know if it's normal (since I've never had a stainless steel cookware set) that the bottom of the stainless steel cookware set rusts after a few uses and just needs polishing from time to time? After using the steamer 1 time, there were a lot of white marks on the inner bottom, which I also don't understand, and I poured out hot water and washed it properly, they just stay there. The weight of the pots and pans is quite heavy compared to the non-stick coating, I would definitely not recommend them to older people with arthritis, after cooking I would lift the pot or pan to pour the cooked food into plates or bowls, every time . If my wrist hurts when I hold it up in the air, I sometimes ask my husband to hold the other end of the pen for me or all of that while I stir food in plates or bowls. I especially like that the lid is very easy to open. clean as they do not have internal gaps like glass that make cleaning impossible. And the bottom of the set is dent free which I also like as a lot of other stainless steel sets I've seen have an internal dent line around which they look ugly and contain dirty stuff making them difficult to clean. The screws have a rounded, flat surface that's great for cleaning and keeps dirt away from common screw dents. And each pot and pan is measured on the inside wall, which is great for cooking, as you all already know. Overall, this set evokes feelings of both love and hate. I also don't want to keep using our old nonstick kit as it was already riddled with scratches and may have released toxic chemicals into our food and to avoid the hassle of sending it back I kept it. Maybe the above unsatisfactory things are normal in stainless steel cookware sets, I just don't know them? Or am I just unlucky, I got a defective kit? I recently ordered some bartender friends, I'll start polishing them in a while, see if that helps against the rainbow and white spots and rust spots.
