Maybe I caught a dud.
Bought for my daughter to use with her Apple devices and they worked great for about 3-4 days then stopped allowing simultaneous charging and music through the lightning connectors. He allowed both, but not both at the same time. We have never tried any other headphone jack (3.5mm) because we bought it for the Lightning port connector, so no opinion. It seemed like a good product as it worked great for those few days but I suspect I may have fallen into disrepair.
