Review on ๐Ÿ“บ Vemount Corner TV Wall Mount: Full Motion Corner Mount for 32-65 inch TVs up to 99 lbs, Swivel & Rotate Functionality, Max VESA 600x400mm by Terry Wright

Okay, but buy mounting hardware.

I just moved to a place where the TV needed to be placed in a corner. After reading how this would hold up to the size and weight of my TV I thought it would be perfect. Of course, the installation is not very easy and requires the purchase of additional hardware. Anyway, I've broken it down into two main aspects: product quality and functionality: quality does the job. It's heavy and all the hinges feel strong. It's made in China and the instructions are written in terrible English, but the assembly is pretty logical. I didn't like how you have to use one screw for both bracket arms on the TV to attach the vertical brackets to the panel. I had another brand that had spring loaded locks which was amazing when I moved and took my TV off the wall. You lose stability with a corner mount, so it's never as secure as a flat wall mount (but you can do that with this mount if you want). Functionality is decent, I can move left and right and if my TV were lighter I could position it so it protruded further from the wall. The tilt doesn't hold up very well unless you have a TV under 30 pounds. My TV weighs 50 pounds and no matter how tight I lock the tilt, it falls. Luckily I was able to set it high enough that I didn't mind. Overall I would give the product 4 out of 5 stars for quality and functionality. Installation and installation of equipment: BUY WASHING MACHINE! The screws that come with the bracket are too small and the picture shows that it fits easily into the grooves. I ended up buying hex head screws from a hardware store with washers as I had a heavier TV and wanted to be sure that if the install failed, it wouldn't go wrong. Also, due to the fact that I had to install the TV, I had to pick up some wood (I chose solid mahogany so I didn't have to machine it) to create a more secure base, as shown in another image. If somehow you can't fit all 8 screws in the studs, I would recommend doing this. Each half of the rear bracket isn't wide enough to fit 4 screws in 2 studs and screwing it to the drywall is pointless. You have the option to reposition the rear mounting plates to fit almost any corner, but the maximum you can fit is one stud on each side. All in all, it holds my heavy TV just fine, but it'll wobble a bit if we get an earthquake. My advice: if you can avoid a corner mount, go for it, especially if your TV weighs over 30 pounds.

Pros
