My dogs really liked these sweaters and they kept them warm in the cold winter snow. They were very water repellent on the inside as the snow melted on them and got wet on the outside, but dry and warm on the inside. It's a bit small, despite all the measurements I took. Therefore, when measuring and deciding on a size, order the next larger size. I wish I had ordered them more time before my trip so I could trade them in for bigger ones but they still did their job and my puppies looked cute and warm. They don't stretch very much so make sure you go up the next size up and measure your dog to make sure it fits. Even though my boxer/shepherd mix is small for her breed I had to get her an XL. And since my chihuahua pup was a big little guy I should have gotten him a medium size not small even though he only weighs 10lbs and was measured small. The same goes for my box mix. It fit just right for a large one, but it wasn't big enough. But very warm and beautiful.
