It's early days but not only am I not impressed yet, I've remembered why I prefer SONY in general! So far, out of SIX CDs, TWO are already terrible! ONE was a "bad drive" while the other mumbled erratically and pixelated at will! I've rarely had this problem with Sony or Verbatim, maybe with 1 or 2 discs out of 25, but never this early! I suspect my DVD player is partly to blame! I have an old SAMSUNG DVD player and it has always had trouble playing cheap or poor quality DVDs, including store bought DVD movies! I took one of those "pixelated" DVDs I just burned, put it in my DVD burner and watched it on my computer: no problem except for a small gap where it "pixelated" in my Samsung player " was! Yes, so technically the discs are NOT defective, but they do not correspond to the quality! As I said, I've had no problems watching Sony, Verbatim or Memorex DVDs in Samsung, mostly Maxells; If you have a newer, less sensitive machine, you might not have any problems! I would still like to read more customer reviews first though! I also hope Revain can get more SONY DVDs, my aching scalp that has been suffering from my constant attempts to pull my hair out in desperation would really appreciate it!
