Edit after 2 years: Filters are getting more and more expensive and the battery is no longer charging. It works when plugged in and cleans the air in my car well during pollen season, so I leave it there. After a few more rolls off the shelf, it ripped in the seam above the buttons, but it's glued back together like crazy, just fine. A nifty little fan, slightly smaller than a 16 ounce travel coffee mug. There isn't much polluted air where I live, but one day after dinner my whole house smelled of curry, and with the curry on my face I felt nothing. So this is my completely unscientific experience. I bought it mainly for travel to install in hotel bathrooms that never had fans. A cotton swab over it with a drop of essential oil also turns it into a simple diffuser. Great workmanship, it survived a fall from the frame unscathed and just seems very well built.
