This is the third laptop stand I've tried. I have a Microsoft Surface Laptop, so I don't need anything super powerful. I wanted a stand so the camera on the laptop would be raised higher so I could look straight at it instead of looking down (bad angle for those zoom and team meetings). The other option I considered was to buy a second camera for my monitor, but then I read other reviews that said the laptop stand helps people sit up straight and therefore have less back problems . I didn't think about it, but then I found myself leaning over to use the keyboard. I was concerned about the slight bulges on the bottom of the laptop - they're there to keep the laptop from sliding off - but my wrists barely touch them. What gives this stand 5 stars is that it comes with two hex keys to tighten the stand (see photo). Once I had the stand in the desired position, I tightened it and it stayed. The other one I tried came with no tools, was shaking so I sent it back. This one sometimes moves a bit due to the weight of my wrists, but that's because it doesn't have front legs to support it, just a main stand. I looked at the 4 leg ones but they were either way more than I wanted to spend or not as adjustable. Hold this.
