Review on 🛁 Delta RP64721OB Foundations Tub Spout - Oil Bronze Pull-Up Diverter: The Perfect Addition to Enhance Your Bathroom by Rodrigo Harrison

I bought this to replace the delta spout. The description and responses to it and the Delta website say it works with my 1/2" pipe as it comes with an adapter. This faucet is metal so I wanted it. But it doesn't work with threaded pipe. For rail mounting (copper 1/2" unthreaded), the plug must be at least 1 5/8" from the wall for it to work. Although Delta's answers say it can't work with any stream on a channel. You can technically remove the inner plastic tube inside the spout to reveal the female-threaded end, but that end is at the front of the spout, so your faucet will need to be about 6 inches from the wall for it to fit. I called Delta and they said do not remove the plastic pipe as this spout is not designed to be used with threaded pipes. They suggested I buy an RP17453SS spout as it is designed to be used with 1/2" threaded tubing with the wall sticking out an inch or so. Unfortunately it's plastic. Spring. If you have a skid tube, this is a great spout.
