Also high quality and beautiful!

This convertible bath spout was purchased to replace a spout I bought from Home Depot years ago. This is a metal spout, the HD has a plastic spout. This is a beautiful grommet and clearly a quality product. Looks great and works

does not meet Delta standards

I bought this because I have always trusted the Delta brand. They support their product. however, this faucet failed. it corroded in just over a year. The outlet pull is stuck in the up position, so I can only take a shower

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Modern

Poor quality good for faucet parts

The faucet stem/plug was broken in half. That means it won't take long when I try to install it. weak product. Metal shouldn't break easily. Especially in shipping! Not worth the price. Stuck on it due to installer reverse timeout. Will have to buy another one now.

Pros
  • good item
Cons
  • reliability

Maybe it's just me. But

This spout was part of a retrofit for a Delta 600 Series bath/shower. No instructions were provided so my first attempt at installation was to simply slide the spout over the copper tubing and tighten with an Allen key. I was never able to get a tight fit after several attempts. Then I got the idea to just remove (unscrew) this inner part (I don't know what it's called) and put it on the pipe and secure it with a hex screw. Then I just unscrewed the spout and got the perfect fit. I'm not a…

The first came with a broken shift rod.

The first came with a broken traction during transport. Revain quickly replaced him. The divertor never closed properly, it always dripped when activated. Lately it didn't close well enough to turn on the shower head. I could put my hand under the spout to increase the pressure on the shower head but that doesn't work now either. You have to pull and press the toggle while covering the spout with your hand for it to activate the shower head. Corrosion has also formed on the top surface of the…

Does not work with threaded pipe!

I bought this to replace the delta spout. The description and responses to it and the Delta website say it works with my 1/2" pipe as it comes with an adapter. This faucet is metal so I wanted it. But it doesn't work with threaded pipe. For rail mounting (copper 1/2" unthreaded), the plug must be at least 1 5/8" from the wall for it to work. Although Delta's answers say it can't work with any stream on a channel. You can technically remove the inner plastic tube inside the spout to reveal the…

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • So So

I installed this spout by sliding it open with a set screw. There are no instructions in the instructions so I figured you put the spout on a 1/2 inch copper plug coming out of the wall, tighten the set screw and call it good. Not really good because what prevents water from flowing through the copper pipe and into the shower wall is an o-ring that seals the copper pipe. To divert water to the shower head, the pressure increases and this pressure pushes the water through the o-ring. I thought I
