Super collection of cotton threads! The colors are wonderful. If you want a variety of colors in cotton yarn, this is a good buy! BUT the thread is wound on plastic tubes and packed in not one, not two, but *three* separate layers of plastic. All this plastic is almost impossible to recycle and eventually pollutes our planet. The plastic tubes on which the thread is wound can be replaced with bamboo tubes. The thread can be wrapped in paper and then placed in a recyclable plastic bag to keep moisture out. I don't like belittling a good product because of its packaging, but that's irresponsible and we need to make it clear to manufacturers that we don't want the plastic pollution they create.
