I bought a Yongnuo flash trigger because I was tired of using an external flash cable. The first thing to do after taking the device out of the box is to connect the controller to the computer and update the drivers. I like to highlight objects from behind, this trigger allows me to do that. To test the range, I placed the flash at one end of the yard and moved the controller about 75 feet to the other end of the yard. The flash worked perfectly. I use it on both the Nikon D 5100 and Nikon D 7500. I had no problem connecting the controller to either camera. It works on both cameras in TTL mode. This is a good device for the price.
