Review on National Hardware N260 126 Bearclaw Projects by Ankur Songz

Ideal for hanging medium sized items!

There are buttons, staples and other tiny fasteners for hanging small items. There are wall anchors etc. for hanging up large things, except for the bolts in the frame. But for medium stuff where a 1mm nail won't help and a wall anchor would be overkill. Not to mention the screw, lol. You are perfect! They'll hold a decent weight, although I haven't tested if they'll hold all the 30 pounds listed, mainly because I'm not sure the listing means they can hold 30 pounds in drywall. alone or if you need a wall anchor/bolt for it. I mean. Of course, if I was screwing this into a bolt I would expect MUCH more than 30 pounds of shear strength, but still. I now know that I must read the listing very carefully as it is not always the first thing a person reads. In any case, it's a one-piece piece, as opposed to dowels, which can be installed with a screwdriver, as opposed to bolts, and no bolt is required for reliable holding power! I soon hooked my saw to one of these with a carabiner through the Sawzall's handle, it's been hanging there for a while now and I've taken it off and put it back on many times with no problem. I could see that they have many other uses in general crafting, anywhere you need to screw something in but also have a protruding part to attach other things to. A good color too! Considering the price, I will be needing more of these in the near future! ♥
