Description of National Hardware N260 126 Bearclaw Projects

Works best with D-rings, wire, keyhole and sawtooths for picture and mirror hanging solutions. Install with philips screwdriver. No pilot holes required because of self-drilling tips. Use anchors to hold heavy items if there is no stud. Great for drywall, wood or plaster.

Pack of 10 screws ideal for hanging up to 30 pounds from drywall.

Very easy to use - it's a small container with 10 individual screws. The screws have a solid stop that leaves an extension protruding from the wall for you to hang the frame on - any hanging method will work (wire, D-ring, keyhole or sawtooth). The screws are made of steel coated with zinc chromate (brass colored) and this coating is said to reduce corrosion when used in a humid environment.

Store clothes and wardrobe easier than a nail

This is a good alternative to a nail when trying to hang something heavier or something that you need to remove from time to time. It is very easy to install and has a stop so it always comes out at the same height and sticks out the same with each install. You won't have a problem with nails as sometimes a nail goes all the way into the wall when you're trying to hang something. My only criticism is that it's a bit pricey compared to other suspension options, but it does what it's supposed to…

I knew it was for me.

I have a knife magnet on my kitchen wall. Well, it's kind of its own, because I kept breaking anchors and it just turned into a mess. I saw the screws and realized that's what I need. There is no such thing as a cheap bend/break plastic anchor. There is no need to partially leave the screw outside the wall. This worked great and now my knife magnet stays on the wall when I take the knife off the magnet. No complex applications or tools were required. Just grab a standard screwdriver and the job

Convenient smart design

The design of these double-headed screws is perfect for hanging anything. The threads are coarse, which is good for drywall. The screws taper towards the tip so that they can also be easily screwed in with a hand screwdriver. By being flush with the drywall, the waffle head is more secure than using a partially driven regular drywall or wood screw, which has much less holding pressure. They're a bit more expensive compared to drywall or wood screws, but they're functionally superior and can be…

Great idea for hanging pictures

I usually use Philips wood screws to hang pictures at home. They screw easily into drywall without damaging it too much and can support a significant amount of weight. This new double headed screw is a great idea as it has a second head lower on the shank which prevents the screw from being driven all the way into the wall. It offers an even depth to make hanging large pictures easier. It also means you don't have to remove the screw from the wall if you screw it in too deep. It's just some…

Perfect, perfect, perfect!

Just what I need to hang a large, heavy piece of art on a wall where drywall is flimsy and breaks easily. This prevents the screw from fully digging into the wall which is very annoying, but these screws make hanging something very convenient and easy. Also, they arrived on the day I also received what I needed for hanging where I needed a screw in a wooden door frame. I tapped lightly with a hammer to push the screw in a bit and then I was able to screw it in with a screwdriver so easily! it…

Useful little screw for hanging things

I wouldn't normally ask for something like this, but I had a clock in my kitchen and figured this type of screw would win. The clock has a slightly recessed hanging point and using a standard drywall screw it was not easy to find the right length to hang the clock firmly on the wall. Every time I pulled it down to replace the battery, the screw turned just enough to either (1) dangle the clock and bang against the wall when the next garage door opened/closed; or (2) I would scratch the wall and

Ideal for hanging medium sized items!

There are buttons, staples and other tiny fasteners for hanging small items. There are wall anchors etc. for hanging up large things, except for the bolts in the frame. But for medium stuff where a 1mm nail won't help and a wall anchor would be overkill. Not to mention the screw, lol. You are perfect! They'll hold a decent weight, although I haven't tested if they'll hold all the 30 pounds listed, mainly because I'm not sure the listing means they can hold 30 pounds in drywall. alone or if you…
