We bought these for a music festival. These ponchos are great for a light drizzle. They itched around the neck and arms due to the material. I figured they would work better since the material is thicker fabric rather than thin plastic. However, they passed the durability test, but when it came to not staying completely dry, they failed the test. Water easily seeps through the sides of the buttons. The buttons came apart easily. After a while, water still started seeping through the fabric. I would not recommend it for heavier rain. Other people in ordinary cheap plastic ponchos were drier than us.
