An alarm makes cords safer and more useful where a cord without an alarm would be impractical
I would give it 5 stars but poor design makes the batteries harder to check and change if necessary. I made a simple modification to make checking and replacing the batteries easier. If the company makes a similar change I will change it to 5 stars. Signaling makes wire safer and more useful where wire without signaling would be impractical. The company supports its products and has replaced a faulty alarm. .
