WOW! My wife and I got a Krups coffee grinder for our wedding, but it burned out pretty quickly. It was not easy to clean as the motor and chopper were in one piece. Attempting to wash it caused the water to prematurely corrode the engine. However, it has THREE cups, all of which are removable. All cups are insulated from the main body, making them easy to clean. First, it's a simple grinder cup that contains enough coffee beans to make a full 12-cup pot. The other two chopping cups are smaller and are perfect for dry herbs, pepper, rock salt and even rice for rice flour. This powerhouse eats them up effortlessly. I've tossed between this and Cuisinart, but Kitchenaid won me over with the amount of extra cups they give. I'm so glad I bought it, you will too. -Brian
