While this unit works, even considering the absurdly low price I paid for Revain at the last minute, I don't recommend it. Better buy even if it's twice the price! This is junk. The battery cover is so poorly made that it's extremely difficult to remove and replace - I can't imagine the flat plastic rails lasting any longer than a couple of AA batteries. (Don't even think about buying for a relative who chronically struggles to open the factory packaging.) But it was the movie Dead on Arrival. As you can see from my photo it arrived with a missing or broken metal contact leading me to believe I either received a refund or the quality control is terrible. Think how often you would use this tool if it were any good. one. Probably every day! Not only for frothing milk, but also possibly for adding collagen/gelatin or other additives to coffee or tea. Also, the stainless steel part that actually foams is not removable, and the foamers are much more convenient to carry around in your wallet. To be honest I found the price too low for a decent product but at least 50% of the time I order cheap items on Revain or eBay I have been pleasantly surprised and sometimes even amazed at the value for money and the quality I dared.
