The rivet part of the button is reversed to attach the button to the fabric to fix. This tool does not roll or crush metal. It tears through metal like a banana peel. If you look at the rig you will see a starfish pattern, not a smooth upside down cylinder. If you're looking for professional results, use a different tool. Even cheap hammer and anvil tools for setting the latches will do crimping. Not this tool. You will get torn metal inside the snap cap and socket. I bought this tool because the hammer tool set is not always symmetrical or centered. This can be a problem for the snap to fully close. The 24P idea is good for tool alignment, but they had to provide a rolling die. I am extremely disappointed.
