All of these four and five star reviews are pretty amazing, especially considering this item is being marketed as "Emergency Survival Gear". I took it on an ice fishing trip to the Adirondacks in New York. Slept in tents at -3F. I let my son use my canvas bivouac and used this one. I ordered camping gear, saw this product and decided to give it a try. First of all, this is not a tent. This really is a very large mylar blanket for $20. While it may still have its value, using this item as a tent proved disastrous as my sleeping bag tore it up immediately. As for the photo where they make a tent out of it. I wouldn't bet my life on it. For a large $20 mylar blanket, it comes in handy in an emergency. But I am giving this item one star because I will never use it as a bivouac again since it is on sale.
