I'm 5ft 6in, weigh 339lbs, I wear 44G jeans, size 22, I went up a size and have a 26 in these pants and I'm glad I did . While I believe they are true to size (I usually order a size 24 for swimwear) I wanted them NOT to be tight, which they are not. They fit and are comfortable, just what I wanted. I have a lot of very tight one-piece suits that are often too short when they come up and cover my butt, even though I have a small waist. I carry my weight fairly evenly/throughout my body - I have the heaviest weight around my chest, hips, buttocks and thighs, and they reach just below my belly button and high enough above my large buttocks that I don't care. My crack makes it look unsightly. I paired them with a tankini top, which I also ordered from Revain after spending $300 on SS for All suits. everything was returned. I wish I could try them first and save myself the shipping and hassle. I am satisfied with the purchase and the value for money. They are FAT and look well tailored and I find them flattering considering I'm not a petite woman. I would absolutely recommend them and would happily buy another pair. I'll say right away that I don't find these models high-waisted at all.
