Bought for a 7 month old baby who is smaller. He's wearing Carter's 20-foot mark, but they're getting too tight. I don't like tight clothes for my kids so I usually order bigger clothes to give them a loose fit and room to grow. I ordered 12m for him and they are PERFECT. I could probably go smaller but wanted it to last longer. In my experience Carter's is generally age appropriate except Simple Joys is small and Gerber is also small. Which is not a problem, you just have to evaluate it. Other than that, I prefer her to Carter for the price. They are also good quality but not as thick as Carter's or as cute in terms of the prints but worth for the price and quality.
