At first I thought this winder would be a handy if useless addition to my shop. In the beginning (in the summer) everything worked fine, but there is nothing special to write about. The winding mechanism isn't the best I've seen and the fact that you have to push the record hard to get it to wind up. The real reason for the two stars is that it doesn't really work in cold weather. Even with premium extenders, the coiler simply won't pick up cold cord. However, the winder seems to work well above 60f and absolutely fails below freezing. If you only want to use it indoors in a constantly monitored environment, then this might be the way to go. If your store stays cold except when you're inside or you plan to use it outdoors and the temperature drops below 40F, I really don't recommend this.
