Review on 💧 PUR PPT111W Ultimate Filtration Water Filter Pitcher: Enhanced 11-Cup White Model by Kim Bardgett

I've been using PUR jugs for about 8 years and I'm very happy with them. I dropped my last jug and it cracked so I had to buy another one. I was concerned because there were quite a few negative reviews. I personally like the new block, although I don't use the filter indicator, so I can't comment on it. I still use the filter replacement charts that came with every filter purchase, except I attached them to a fridge magnet a few years ago. Advantages: large capacity for 11 cups; Comfortable grip and filters water at a good speed. Delicious water after filtering through a pitcher! Cons: Newer pitchers have a lid that you can fill with your thumb, rather than having to remove the entire lid like older models. I've found that this method tends to create a slight overflow at the top, which then spills water during transport to the fridge. Not necessarily bad, but takes getting used to. Some others have mentioned that the lid is leaking as it doesn't sit flat on the container. I noticed that when I first put the filter on. The problem was that the filter holder fits back into the jug anyway, and if it's put on the wrong way around, the lid won't fit the jug properly. This is not a defect. Simply turn the holder 180 degrees and it fits! Thank you PUR for all the years of filtered water!
