Be a "locksmith" beginner. As a do-it-yourselfer, I wanted to renovate our new home myself instead of hiring a professional to make 10+ locks. Thanks to this kit and the youtube videos, I had everything I needed to get the job done with a little learning. This kit probably has more features/tools than I need for my particular project, but I love the idea of having this kit ready for any locking issues in the future. The only issue I had was quality control: Below #6) wrong contact. This caused a lot of confusion at the beginning of my project. Once I realized the pins were wrong it all made sense and I was able to move on. This does not affect the functionality of the kit, you just need to make sure everything is organized as you dig through the lock and start pulling the pins out of this kit.
