, I have been using a Hoover vacuum for 5 years. Although I took the time to shake out the filter when I emptied the dust bin, this filter never really got clean. The replacement immediately gave the vacuum cleaner a noticeable increase in performance. I know all bagless vacuums are advertised for the convenience of not changing anything etc. But I highly recommend changing this filter every year or so.
