When several people complained mine fell apart too and didn't come together. I had to glue the top so I could use it properly. However, after I glued it, it worked as intended. I bought to help me change my rook piercing. It seemed to hold the small balls tight enough to rotate on the rack so overall happy with the purchase after my modification.
