I've had the adapter for several months now, no problems. The quality of the cable is immediately noticeable as it's a good weight and doesn't feel cheap at all. The design is perfect for using headphones when you're concerned about damaging the headphone cable (I've ruined a couple of good headphones in the past because the headphone cable started making a crackling noise because the cable was angled too much) than Adapter long guarantees that the headphone cable is practically not subjected to pressure. This adapter is clearly preferable to the one-piece adapters that always come with the headphones. Save yourself the trouble of ruining expensive headphones and just buy this $10 adapter. I think it will last a long time because it seems designed to withstand a sharp angle. But even if it doesn't last as long, it's still far better to buy another one of these adapters than a whole new set of headphones. Highly recommended.
